Para-Boston was called in to do an investigation in Weymouth in an old house built in the 1800's. The owners wanted verification of experiences they are having: They state that they are "ok" with the spirits that they feel are living there with them.

The house itself is a beautiful detailed house with a sense of history and family. The house is mostly original with horsehair and plaster walls and floor grates for the heat. The old wrap-around porch had been replaced by sturdy cement one.
The kitchen on the bottom floor has been renovated and is very different from the original plan.

History of Site:

Ø The house was built around 1868 but it may have been earlier. Weymouth is the second oldest town in the Commonwealth. The owner believes the same man who built the Jefferson School in Weymouth built the house. The structure is mostly original. A new front door was installed. The old wooden wrap around porch was replaced by sturdy cement. A wall was removed from the old parlor to accommodate a larger living room.

Ø The area used to be farmland. Kramer's Dairy used to be across the street. The Barn burned down in the 60's and a fireman perished in the blaze.

Ø The head herdsman's house was once located behind ****** Street . There used to be a small road that led to it. The woods behind the house also used to be part of the original property.

Nature of Haunting:

A tall dark figure walks from behind the house, between the tack house and the main house and to the old front door on a daily basis. Neighbors have also seen this figure.
There was a person shot in the house on the second floor. Occupants sometimes hear the sound of a body slamming onto the floor.
A baby died in the upstairs bedroom in the 1970's and the occupants have heard a baby crying multiple times.
The kitchen ceiling, below the location of the baby that passed, has unusual readings
A friend of the family had seen a man in an old soldiers uniform (1940's style) walking past the driveway.

Observations, Activity, and Evidence:

No pictures evidence
No video evidence
Possible EVPs captured of children talking, no children are present this night.
A voice reporting inability to breath with an exhale
Abnormal EMF readings with all power off in the hallway
Feeling of heaviness noted in the kitchen area,
Feelings of being followed or being watched are felt by some investigators,
Footsteps are heard in the backyard; however, no one was there;
Battery drain of camera.
Static electricity/tingle like feelings, hair standing up is felt by two investigators
A flash of light is seen, however, is determine not to be cameras flash
Feelings of heaviness in the air on the stairs way going toward the second floor; One spot in particular was at the top of the stairs an investigator felt nauseous and stomach pain.

Experiments:

The experiment was an attempt at capturing EVPs while the digital recorder is placed in a Faraday Cage. The Faraday cage controls interference and helps determine the quality of evidence collected
A camera was left running for a week; this would focus on an area that has reported daily visitations.

Conclusion:
This is an on going investigation. Evidence captured on EVP and abnormal readings in the hallways with electricity off, leads us to believe that there is a possibility of paranormal activity.
