OUR SEVEN-STEP INVESTIGATION PROCESS
Our Investigations From Cradle to Grave.
PARA-BOSTON was asked to do an investigation for a family in the process of purchasing a home that they claimed was under attack by paranormal activity. Moving in while their mortgage processed, almost immediately they began to see objects move and forms standing in bedrooms at night. Some family members were woken from sleep in the early morning hours by the feeling of unseen hands pushing down on their chests. Presences seemed to be everywhere. Adding to their fright, a previous owner was allegedly a voodoo practitioner. Terrified, they left the house, moved into a motel, and had every intention of never moving back in. They called PARA-BOSTON and asked us to help them decide whether or not to purchase their seemingly haunted house.
Lexington Massachusetts is most often associated with the Revolutionary War. What many people do not know, areas in Lexington in and around Battle Road, the location of the battle that triggered the start of the American Revolution, are haunted. Over the last two hundred and thirty plus years, scores of hauntings have been reported at the area's battlefields, old burial grounds, the famous Buckman's Tavern, and along Battle Road itself where hundreds of soldiers from both sides, Colonials and British, were killed and buried. To sharpen our ghost hunting skills and to experience the rich history of paranormal activity for ourselves, PARA-BOSTON conducted an exploratory investigation.
For over fifteen years, a family in Weymouth Massachusetts has shared their 200-year-old home with three ghosts. A little girl who haunts a second floor bedroom. An old man who walks out of the woods, across the yard and checks the front door almost every night. And a man who died on the second floor landing. The family called us not of out fear but curiosity. They had grown accustomed to hearing noises and voices and seeing forms cross rooms. They were comfortable with their haunting for it was not negative or malevolent. They called us partly to prove that they were not crazy, and partly to know once and for all whom these departed people were. And if they needed some help passing over to the other side.
A young couple living in a 150-year-old house called us when, seemingly, for no apparent reason, their house became full of paranormal activity. They saw dark shadows moving in rooms. Lamps would start buzzing and turn on and off when they walked by them. The husband had become suddenly ill with nausea and migranes that would not go away. The microwave buttons would push by themselves and turn on the unit. They reported that a hazy bird-like entity would fly all around the house, terrorizing the cat. They came to us hoping we could get to the root of their alleged haunting and, if so, could we help them to get rid of it?
